Here at Wicks & Bath Co, we've always believed in using natural and sustainable raw ingredients in all of our products. We spent quite a bit of time formulating our candle lines and initially landed on using all natural 100% soy wax produced here in the United States from sustainable soybeans. We also landed on using crackling wooden wicks, made using materials from sustainable, FSC certified tree farms 🌲🌲🌲. These wooden wicks provide a great ambiance 😍😍😍.
The materials we use in our candles can be tricky to work with 🤨🤨. Soy wax isn't known for hot throw (how far the scent travels when the candle is lit), but we've spent quite a bit of time formulating our candles for the best scent throw possible. We've tweaked our candle formulas along the way in our effort for continuous improvement of our products for our customers.
Now as Wicks & Bath Co approaches our third year of business 🎇🎇🎇, we're looking to significantly improve our product lines in the coming year. We're starting with a candle glow up 🥳🥳🥳...
What are we doing??
First, we've been testing, and now switching to an improved soy + coconut wax blend. Still all natural and produced here in the United States from sustainable materials. Why switch 🤔🤔🤔??? We're looking to improve the hot throw of candles when our customers light them. The addition of coconut to the soy wax blend softens the wax slightly, yet still provides creamy smooth tops and improves the overall hot throw of our candles.
Second, we're introducing an upscaled labeling to our candle vessels. The upscaled labeling will be consistent across all of our candle product lines and brings a luxurious look to our candles.
Lastly (for now...), we're streamlining our candle vessels for our Luxe candle line (12oz candles): Creamy sunshine-colored vessels will be used for our all-year round scents, and a crisp white vessel for our seasonal scents.
These changes will vastly improve our candle lines for all of your senses. We're still working on a major packaging change for our candle lines, and we'll follow up with part 2 of our candle glow up when those are ready.
